Oliver Bischoff and Danilo Dürler are Et la Benn, a Berlin-based design duo. The Appel Design Gallery presents their lamp series called ‘Malva’ made of sponge cloth at the moment.
The moistened sponge cloth is formed and hardened by air drying on a mould. Design cannot be imagined without the almost annoying idea of sustainability these days. That’s why the various lamps are also compostable.
